The drop down menu color has no option to change

How do I change it?

  • Adam Czajczyk

    Hello James,

    I hope you're well today and thank you for your question!

    I have visited your site and I can see that you're using so called "burger menu" (the same as on mobile views) on your site. I took a look at it and I believe you're referring to the "on mouse over" link color, is that right?

    To change it you'll want to add a custom CSS rule to the theme. The rule would be:

    div[data-style="burger"] a:hover {color:red;}

    You'll want to replace "red" with the color of your choice (either as color name or in HEX format, eg. #CCDDBB which is kind of gray(ish)) since I used "red" for demonstration purpose only.

    To apply this code, please open your home page in browser and then
    - enter "Upfront" mode by clicking "Upfront" link in your admin toolbar
    - switch the left Upfront panel to "Theme settings"
    - click on "add custom CSS rules" link
    - paste the code from above at the bottom of an existing code visible in an editor window.

    Once you save everything (both editor and entire Upfront settings), changes will take effect.

    I hope that helps!

    Cheers,
    Adam
