    Hi @Eugene

    You may use this feature to control the protocol (HTTP or HTTPS) used with whatever URL you are mapping.

    For instance: Assuming
    PrimarySite =
    SubSite = | or |
    MappedTLD =

    Assuming you want to use domain mapping to map the domain to

    Previously, one could only use HTTP protocol setting when mapping addresses. Like this:

    With the new feature, one can chose to use to use either protocol. Like this: | or |

    Please be aware that this feature is only for mapped addresses, and will only function correctly if SSL is setup correctly.

    There are additional & complimentary features that apply to the primary site and the network found in Network > Settings > Domain Mapping

    Hope that this helps :slight_smile:

      You are very welcome @Eugene!

      Just to add, I believe that in latest DM release, there is now a third option in this drop-down menu.

      The third option is 'Don't Force'

      This third option is for if you are going to be using an additional method for controlling the protocol selection (such as HTTPS plugin) instead of using DM to control protocol selection.

      Glad I could help :slight_smile:

      Cheers, Max
