The Snapshot destination folder is not writable

After I move my website to new Cloudways app (same server just different app or different public_html folder) , Snapshot giving me the following errors:

ERROR: The Snapshot destination folder is not writable

ERROR: The Snapshot restore folder is not writable

ERROR: The Snapshot destination folder is not writable

ERROR: The Snapshot destination folder is not writable

ERROR: The Snapshot locks folder is not writable

I’ve read this topic and others too, but not worked, except if I set the permission to 777. But I dont want to keep as 777 file permission, because it’s not safe.

can you please check what’s wrong with my server configuration or permission?

*NB I’ve enabled the support access

*edit* sorry I’ve posting it in wrong section(General) please move it to the correct section

Nevermind, the cloudways support help me to reset the file permission, it seems when I move my wordpress from another cloudways app but same server, the permission group not changing from the previous to the new app.

    Hey there Ega,

hope you're doing good and thanks for reaching us!

I'm glad that you made through this. As I also use Cloudways for testing environment, I wonder, was this "Reset permissions" action enough for you? Or did Cloudways support resolved this for you?

    Take care,

    Dimitris
