The theme doesn't have custom menus.

I finally found a theme that I liked and wanted to use for my site but I then discovered that it has no custom menu support! Something that is a must to have on the site. I see that there are already drop down menus for the community and categories so it shouldn’t be too difficult to implement would it?

    Hiya Robert,

Thanks for your question here. The Scholar theme is one of our remaining legacy themes which doesn’t provide for menu navs. It’s built as a child theme of the default BuddyPress theme – which also doesn’t provide for custom menu navs.

If you’d like to get your hands dirty with a bit of code modification, we can help ya get it up and running and we may well add it into the theme as well at some point.

Let me know if you’d like some specific instruction on how to add it.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

After some discussion we’ve decided that we will most likely use the Edublogs theme instead. So we have the menus and everything working off the bat. And it seems the Edublogs theme got alot of nice theme options aswell.

I will need some help later with some customization and such for that theme but then I’ll just make a new support topic instead.

    Cheers

    /Robert
