Too many redirects after adding wildcart ssl

I created my multisite over HTTP. Then I added wildcard SSL on my server, and changed the main site URL to HTTPS. But still, when I create a new subsite, it's created in HTTP, not in HTTPS.

How can I set it so new subsites will be created over HTTPS when the sites are created?

    Hello William ,

When changing url of the multisite it is not enough to only change it for the main site. Please see this article:
    https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/move-multisite-new-domain/

For a quick reference, this is a list of the main tables you will need to update with your new domain name:

    wp_options > siteurl
    wp_options >home
    wp_site
    wp_sitemeta > siteurl

You would need to check in your database (best using PHPMyAdmin) those places and change http to https when it is needed.
If new blogs are still created with HTTP it means that one of the url in DB was not changed to http.

    kind regards,
    Kasia
