"Too many redirects, error" for mapping domain

Since we have set an SSL certificate for the sub-domains, the domain mapping no longer works. The domain already mapped still work. Domains which I would like to re-map because the plugin simply does not accept the domain, whether I use HTTP or HTTPS makes no distinction. Do you have a solution for me?

    Hello Robert,

I hope you're well today and thank you for your question!

I took a liberty of accessing your site and checking it. I noticed that the "Too many redirects" error shows up as a result of the server redirecting the "mapped domain" between http and https back and forth.

The browser request actually never reaches the target site because of that redirect. I read your chat with my colleague and I see that you have already solved the part where mapping didn't work so that should work fine.

However, since you have HTTPS already forced on site for all the sub-sites, those mapped domains must also be mapped with "https" prefix and not the "http" prefix because otherwise there'll be such a redirect loop.

I have changed the protocol/scheme on the site in question for the mapped domain and it seems to be working fine now. After switching the protocol I was able to load the site with no more redirect loops.

To sum it up: make sure that when you're mapping the domain, you use "https://" prefix instead of "http://" and I think it should be fine

If you have any additional questions, let me know please.

    Best regards,
