translation of Appointments+ plugin

Hello, please tell me, what files to translate.

I translated all terms in


but the plugin is still in english.

    wp-config.php includes it.

    I have now removed the files:

    default.po and

    The only files in the folder …/appointments/languages

    are now: and

    The Date is in German, but the text of the plugin for the user is still in english.

    I have searched the default-de_DE.po files for the english termes that are displayed. Like “Click a free day to apply for an appointment.” and they are all already translated.

    Hello Patrick,

    this didn´t work for me.

    I renamed the files to and de_DE.po but this had no effect.

    Then I renamed them to and defaul.po also no effect.

    I think the problem is that these files are in:


    perhaps this is the wrong folder?

    (This is the folder, where the original files came)

    Or do I have to change anything else in these files exept translating the english terms in :

    msgid “xxxxxx”

    Now I did the following in this folder:


    There are now and de_DE.po, translated with poedit to German. Thus there is english first, then German.

    No result.

    Still everything is in english only.

    Just downloaded the plugin myself. Noticed the following text in the file appointments.php:

    // Load up the localization file if we're using WordPress in a different language
    // Place it in Appointments+'s "languages" folder and name it "appointments-[value in wp-config].mo"

    So change the filenames into and appointments-de_DE.po

    On my website it’s now getting tranlated into Dutch (partly) so it should work:
