Trying to get wildcard SSL working on sub domains

I'm struggling with trying to get my wildcard SSL working on sub domains. I've just un-installed wpmudev domain mapping and installed multi-domains. I've installed risingstarentertainmentnetwork.com under i1p.us. In my cPanel I've added both an A record and a subdomain for *.risingstarentertainmentnetwork.com. Also I noticed I have a line in my WP-Config file "define('DOMAINMAPPING_ALLOWMULTI', 'yes');" which may or may not be left over from the domain mapping plugin. I've tried with and without that line with no noticeable difference. Can you please verify my settings in my Multi-Domains plugin and see if I've missed something. I just activated Support Access and will provide cPanel login info if needed.

Thanks,
Larry

    Hello Larry,

I hope you're well today and thank you for your question!

I took a look at your site and Multi-Domains plugin seems to be working fine. I'm not sure though what exactly would you wish to achieve with your setup so let me please make sure that we're on the same side here.

Your main domain (i1p.us) is accessible via https:// without any errors. That indicated that there's a SSL certificate implemented and it's working properly.

The "raisingstarentertainmentnetwork.com" domain however reports "not secure connection" error when accessed over HTTPS connection. The browser reports that the SSL certificate was issued for "i1p.us" domain as a wild-card certificate so it will support the main "i1p.us" domain and all its sub-domains. This is also working fine because if I try to access one of the sub-sites of your network (e.g. "texas-chamber.i1p.us") over HTTPS it loads fine and browser shows that it is protected with SSL cert.

Having that said, I'd like to ask you to elaborate a bit on how that relates (or rather should relate) to "raisingstarentertainmentnetwork.com" and Multi-Domains? Would you like to make it also available over SSL, are there any redirect issues that needs to be addressed? Please share as much details as possible and I'll be happy to assist you further.

    Best regards,
    Adam

    Thanks Adam-

My goal is to get specific mapped domains under i1p.us to resolve as https without getting insecure messages. rsen2.i1p.us seems to function correctly as https but risingstarentertainmentnetwork.com which I'm trying to map to it will not. When I was using the domain mapping plugin I was getting it to resolved to rsen2.i1p.us but with https errors. Currently using the multi-domains plugin it will only resolve to i1p.us.
