Two questions: Sidebar & breadcrumb nav

Hey there,

I just purchased the Wiki plugin, but I do have a couple of troubles with it.

My biggest issue is that it shows the sidebar of my blog (with it’s applied widgets). However, I want to choose a specific “wiki sidebar” that shows the wiki widgets – but only for the wiki and no other pages.

See here: http://www.gymnasium-schwarzenberg.de/wiki/

It shows the same sidebar as my blog: http://www.gymnasium-schwarzenberg.de/neuigkeiten/

How can I change this? Or is this theme related? I am using this theme right here:

http://themes.truethemes.net/Karma/

It does have some sidebar option, but I don’t know how to apply a specific sidebar to the wiki.

Second question is about the breadcrumb nav: It doesn’t show the homepage of the wiki, for some reason. Also I can’t change the name of the URL, for example

into

The first issue is really “urgent”, the second one is just a plus

Thanks so much for your help, guys!

    Greetings janullmann,

    Welcome to WPMU DEV!

Thank you for the great questions and for the links to the theme and your site.

Indeed the sidebars are theme and you will need to find if there is a way to disable them on the wiki page as you desire or if that does not work then perhaps custom code one by moving/copying one of the templates from the wikidefault-templates folder into your theme folder and then custom code as you desire.

Commonly this is done by comparing the code of your regular theme pages and adding code to the wiki page until it has the features/look that you desire.

Thank you for being a WPMU DEV Community Member!

    Cheers, Joe
