[Ultimate Branding] Problem importing Ultimate Branding Settings

on a fresh website I have problems with Branding, when trying to import my standard Setting that do run on a bunch of installations. Obviously there is something installed and imported, since the main menu entry appears as usual. But all sub items like import or login screen do not work, the wordpress dashboard is not visible any more. when i deactivate UB via FTP, everything is fine again. Looks like an error during the plugin installation to me, but how to fix it? Thanks for your kind help.

    I just noticed that you've granted support access for us and you've already uploaded a .json_.txt file with Ultimate Branding settings.

    I downloaded this file, renamed it to .json and uploaded in a testing local multisite of mine. Everything went down smoothly, no errors or broken admin pages.

    Could you please enable WP_DEBUG, in case it can reveal to us the source of this? Simply access your server via (S)FTP, edit wp-config.php file, find a line like
    define('WP_DEBUG', false);and replace it with the following (if the above line doesn’t exist, simply insert next snippet just above the /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */ comment)

    // Enable WP_DEBUG mode
    define('WP_DEBUG', true);
    // Enable Debug logging to the /wp-content/debug.log file
    define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);
    @ini_set( 'log_errors', 1 );
    // Disable display of errors and warnings
    define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false);
    @ini_set('display_errors', 0);

    Then go ahead and try to replicate the error by importing the settings file again and visiting a broken admin page. By doing so, a /wp-content/debug.log file should be created. Simply download it, rename it to debug.txt and attach it here in your next reply. If size of text file exceeds the 5MB limit of our blog, please use a service like Dropbox and post the shareable link instead.

    OOOhhh, it is been quite a while, the site is online now and I need to get the custom login screen working. The problem still occurs: When I activate Branda, WP working area turns white, menu is still accessible, but i can`t see any items in the working space. So I try to send the debug log, maybe this is of some help? Support access is granted, btw.

    I can see that the connected website here (b8d9***.myraid***.de) has no granted support access and another connected domain of yours with active support access has no Ultimate Branding plugin installed at all. Could you please elaborate on this? :slight_smile:

    Can you also give another try to send us your debug file?
    You can compress it into a .zip file and attach it here in your next reply like my colleague Oguz showed above, or upload it in a service like Dropbox or GDrive and post the shareable link here.

    Appreciate the granted support access. I can see this is a live site and Ultimate Branding is deactivated now. I would really want to see the issues in action. Is it possible for you to create a staging environment of this site, so we can safely troubleshoot? By staging we mean a complete and exact copy of this site into another location/folder in the same server, using a separate database.

    I've also shared the debug log with lead developer of Ultimate Branding for further investigation. Will keep you posted about any development. :slight_smile:
