unable to configure blog privacy settings after installing wpmudev dashboard plugin

The Multisite Privacy Plugin Instructions say to locate the Blog Privacy Settings. This is pasted partially below:

"...Below is a quick overview of each Privacy setting option:
1.Go to Settings > Network Settings in the network admin dashboard
2. Scroll down to Blog Privacy Settings..."

But 'Blog Privacy Settings' doesn't appear in Settings > Network Settings, or anywhere else that I can find.

Am I just not finding it, or has it been changed?

Thank you.

    Hey there,

Thanks for posting on the forums. Sorry for the confusion here.

I hope you have network activated the plugin already ?

Just visit http://yoursite.com/wp-admin/network/settings.php and you will see Site Privacy settings like the attached screenshot. Do you see that ? That option is to control the network wide settings.

For site specific settings, you need to visit the subsite >> Settings >> Reading and then Site visibility will give you the privacy options.

Please advise if you are still not able to get it working.

    Cheers, PC

    Hi PC thank you.

    1. I'm copying and pasting down below the text from the page 'http://416f.net/tl/wp-admin/network/settings.php'. I don't see the heading titled "Blog Privacy Settings"? like I do on this page: https://premium.wpmudev.org/wdp-un.php?action=help&id=52&TB_iframe=true&width=640&height=762

    2. Also on that page, the third numbered instruction at the top of the page says to "Network Activate the Sitewide Privacy options" for the plug in: Do options get activated, or the plug ins themselves?

    Hey there,

    Thanks for your post.

Sorry for the confusion here. Looks like the usage page needs an update as it should say Site Privacy settings instead of blog.

I have sent a note to the writing team for the same.

So you should look at the below :

    Site Privacy Settings

    2. Also on that page, the third numbered instruction at the top of the page says to "Network Activate the Sitewide Privacy options" for the plug in: Do options get activated, or the plug ins themselves?

That is for the plugin activation. After installing the plugin, you need to network activate the plugin in order to use it on your multisite.

    Cheers, PC
