Unable to locate WordPress Content directory (wp-content)

I am using the dashborad and trying to install wiki plugin but I get this error message. Unable to locate WordPress Content directory (wp-content)
The folder is under the root of apache2 /var/www/html

    Let's install it via FTP, then.

    To do this, open up your site in an FTP client, like Filezilla. Navigate to your root folder, and confirm wp-config, wp-includes, and wp-admin are all directories in that root.

    Next, navigate to wp-content/plugins

    Meanwhile, extract the WPMU DEV Dashboard plugin from the .zip file, so you have a single folder.

    With FileZilla, drag the dashboard plugin folder from your local computer on the right to the plugins folder on the right.

    Let the files upload, it can take a few moments on a slow connect, then you should be able to activate the plugin via your WordPress dashboard.
