Im using the Upfront Theme, and I have used one of there code widgets to code in my own custom on-click drop down menu. Everything works great, but when the drop down menu items are displayed they overflow from the code container (I am using position absolute on them) which would not be a problem, but because they overflow, they are displayed behind all other elements and thus rendered useless. I have tried increasing the z-index of the element, and this changed nothing. It appears that all the other elements on the page are receiving a z-index of 1 through the upfront-ouput-module class. If I go into the Google web inspector and turn of the z-index within this class my menu displays correctly. I am not sure if this is the correct solution? Am I doing something obviously wrong? Any feedback is appreciated, I am relatively knew to Upfront. Thanks!
