upfront theme problem

Hi, this is the second time I install upfront on a wordpress and it seems that once again the starters themes dont get out of the box. On my website are many problems going on after choosing the upfront child theme. Cant I just get started with a normal uprfont child theme without running into debugging for hours the problems? How can I run my website on the spirit child theme?
Now i just installed everything and had immediate problems.

    Hi Kasia
    Thanks for the help
    I added the line
    my htaccess file content is:

    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]

    # add a trailing slash to /wp-admin
    RewriteRule ^wp-admin$ wp-admin/ [R=301,L]

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f [OR]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d
    RewriteRule ^ - [L]
    RewriteRule ^(wp-(content|admin|includes).*) $1 [L]
    RewriteRule ^(.*\.php)$ $1 [L]
    RewriteRule . index.php [L]

    should I change anything?

    Hi Renaat,

    Hope you are doing good today. :slight_smile:

    I was able to notice, 500 internal server error in the browser console. Could you please try increasing your memory limit, and check whether it makes a difference.

    To increase you memory limit, you'll have to create a php.ini file inside your root directory, and add the following rules to it:

    upload_max_filesize = 100M
    post_max_size = 256M
    memory_limit = 512M
    file_uploads = On
    max_execution_time = 180

    If you aren't able to increase your memory limit, would recommend you to get in touch with your host, in order to increase these values.

    Please check this link for more info:
    https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/increase-memory-limit/

    I was able to notice that you are running php v5.4.45. If possible, please upgrade it to at least v5.6, which is the minimum requirements as recommend by WordPress.

    Please let us know how that goes, so that we could give a closer look. Have a nice day. :slight_smile:

    Kind Regards,
    Nithin

    Hi I followed some steps to update the size
    I created the php.ini

      </FilesMatch>

      <FilesMatch "\.(css)$">

    php_value max_input_time 180

    I made a support ticket to check the version of my hosting.

    Problem still exist:
    Where I have a problem with in the Upfront, is that it seems that installing the spirit theme and enabeling it to my WP network does not get done totally. I mean When I remove my pages and blog post, to prevent conflicting codes from previous themes, I can not bring the pages of the starters upfront theme back? It seems as if Upfront dont reinstall the theme.
    The Spirit theme just dont get running, I can see some pages, but not the home pages, nor can I recreate the starters spirit theme pages after deleting them and reenabling the theme for my network.

    After a few more hours trying to get the spirit theme working it seems its total broken.
    Even after fully uninstall upfront and the connected themes, I reinstalled the spirit them but still broken.
    I got the nightmare back of the fixer broken issues of last website development. I had the quite using fixer due to to many theme problems.

    Just giving an update that a full reinstall didnt solve the problem this time.
    I even cant open spirit in the upfront builder anymore? this error message did i got
