Upfront Version 0.4.1.5 Still Calls For Update After Updating Reports Completing Successfully

Hello,

Upfront Version 0.4.1.5 Still Calls For Update After Updating Reports Completing Successfully

In the past, this has sometimes been caused by the version number not being incremented in the new version of the plugin.

Just thought you'd want to know.

Sidebar: Upfront does not appear in the drop down selector of plugins and themes on support ticket creation. It sure would be awesome if the drop down selection of plugins and themes on support ticket creation lists them in some kind of logical order. They appear to be about as randomly ordered as possible.

Thanks!

UPDATE: Same Issue seems to be occurring with all the children.
I guess the apple does not fall far from the tree.

    Hey SooBahkDo,

Sorry about this! We actually just pushed out Upfront 1.0, but found a critical issue basically immediately after, so we pulled the release back until we fix it.

If you trigger the manual update check in your WPMU DEV Dashboard plugin at the bottom of the plugins or themes pages then it should remove those update notifications. Until we release it again that is

We like to force selecting a child theme in-case it is related, then we will know which child theme they are using whereas many might be inclined to just select "upfront". We know the child theme isn't always involved, but it's good information just in-case. If in your tests you notice it's happening to multiple themes, then mentioning that in the ticket would be really helpful too.

It should always be showing the Themes at the bottom of the list. Unless you don't choose a specific site and are typing in the plugin, then it will give you results based on that of course

I do understand that showing the themes at the bottom isn't exactly clear anywhere though. We are planning to re-do the "ask a question" form UI completely, so that will definitely be something that is improved.

    Thanks for mentioning this SooBahkDo!

    Cheers,
    Tyler
