Upfront with Tour Operators plugin

Firstly, i’d like to say, your plugins are awesome. Now, to the issue, I am using the Scribe child theme for upfront and the Tours Operators WP plugin by LSX. The issue I’m having is that when I make any new tour package or basically anything generated by the Tours Operators plugin is not having the page layout that I made through upfront. When I enable upfront editing on the pages the upfront designed page shows up. But as soon as I save/update it and refresh it to see the page, it goes back to the original page without any designing and if i open upfront editor again, it’ll show me the designed page exactly where i left off… Please help.

    Hi Rashid,

I’m so sorry to hear the inconvenience you are having. This is really weird and should not happen. What you see inside the Upfront editor should be same in front-end.

Just to make sure no other plugin is conflicting, can you please do a plugin conflict test? To know more about plugin conflict test, you can check this guide: http://premium.wpmudev.org/manuals/using-wpmu-dev/getting-support/

Moreover, I could tell you better about the issue if I could see it live, check your current configuration and make some tests on your site. Would you mind allowing Support Access so we can have a closer look at this?

To enable support access you can follow this guide here:

Please let us know the result of your plugin conflict test and confirm here when you are done granting Support Access. I’m looking forward to hearing from you and resolving this issue as soon as possible.

    Have a nice day. Cheers!

    Hello Rupok,

Thank you for your quick reply. I tried the plugin conflict testing and the problem remains, although with the default WP theme there is no problem.

    I’ve granted you Support Access.

    Thanks & Best Regards,

    Rashid Jamal

    Hello Rashid,

I’m testing that plugin on my site and it doesn’t look like it even works with standard WordPress themes – I checked in 2017 and 2015 theme and in both tours and destinations had broken view.

And it looks like the same is happening with Upfront.

However I send message to developer to check your site to be sure we are not missing anything there. We’ll update you as soon there will be more info.

    kind regards,

    Hey there Rashid,

    I trust you’re doing great!

It seems that the Tour Operators plugin won’t work properly on a multisite with Upfront. The reason for this is that it’s using the template_include hook to set up its pages and this overwrites all the Upfront content.

So, basically it’s borderline impossible for us to make it work with Upfront, you’d need to contact the support for the Tour Operators plugin and see what they can do here.

Take care and have a nice day!

    Warm regards,
