Please guide for upgrading to 3.1.4.

doing quite a few upgrades, eh?

This plugin has been completely rewritten since that version was released. The old version had files in several areas including wp-admin, mu-plugins, and the root directory.

You'll need to remove all of those files. The new version can be installed exactly as you would any other plugin so that part's easy. There's no other manual entries required everything else should upgrade naturally.

Of course, best practices include making a full site and database backup before attempting an upgrade of this nature. Better safe than in a heap of pain!

Let us know how it goes. Thanks.

Easiest way to get the list is from the old versions install instructions (included with the download). Here's the files mentioned there:

    supporter.php - goes in /wp-admin
    supporter-framework.php - goes in /wp-content/mu-plugins
supporter-files - entire folder and contents goes in /wp-content/mu-plugins

    One or Both Payment Gateways:
    supporter-paypal.php - goes in / <-- root directory
    supporter-gateway-paypal.php - goes in /wp-content/mu-plugins
    supporter-amazon.php - goes in / <-- root directory
    supporter-gateway-amazon.php - goes in /wp-content/mu-plugins

    Optional: (Install what you need)
    supporter-quota.php - goes in /wp-content/mu-plugins
    supporter-ads.php - goes in /wp-content/mu-plugins
    supporter-write.php - goes in /wp-content/mu-plugins
    supporter-themes.php - goes in /wp-content/mu-plugins
    supporter-buddypress.php - goes in /wp-content/mu-plugins
    widget-supporter-badge.php - goes in /wp-content/mu-plugins
    widget-supporter.php - goes in /wp-content/mu-plugins
    supporter-plugins.php - goes in /wp-content/mu-plugins
    supporter-premium-support.php - goes in /wp-content/mu-plugins
    supporter-bulk-upgrades.php - goes in /wp-content/mu-plugins
    supporter-bulk-upgrades-paypal.php - goes in / <-- root directory
    supporter-xmlrpc.php - goes in /wp-content/mu-plugins

    Hope that helps!
