Users cannot create accounts?!

The website is 25earlington.com. Users are not able to create accounts. Can you help me figure out why?

I might have solved the problem by replacing the bbpress login widget with the login-with-ajax widget. Registration seems to be working now but I need to do some more testing. I will report back and close the thread if it passes the tests.

This plugin, Set Password on Multisite Blog Creation, is also not compatible with the above fix.

So to recap, users were not able to register so I replaced the bbpress login widget with login-with-ajax widget and that solved the registration problem but brought up new issues:

    -no captcha
    -broken profile link
-does not work with Set Password on Multisite Blog Creation plugin

@Michelle Shull , I'm hoping you can give some input here as discussed in the live chat today.

    Hey Mike!

I'm looking for the Set Password on Multisite Blog Creation plugin on your site, and not finding it. I'm also wondering if it's maybe an issue here, since your current settings are only to allow user registrations, not blog creation. I checked through all the settings in each of your plugins and couldn't find anything related to Set Password on Multisite Blog Creation - can you point me to where I should be looking?

I'm subscribing to this thread, so I'll get an email when you reply.

    Hey Mike!

    Okay, I see it.

I got a CAPTCHA installed that shows on your Ajax registration popup and the login widget, it's a little big, but I think we can adjust the size a little. The Multisite Password isn't working, however, there's no password fields on the registration popup.

So I went to my own site, and I tried to following Ajax login/register plugins to see if I could find one with a CAPTCHA and that would pick up that user password field on the register form:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/ajax-bootmodal-login/
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/login-with-ajax/
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/nice-login-register-widget/
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/ultimate-ajax-login/
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/zm-ajax-login-register/

Result: None of them did! So, I think we can safely say that the Set Password plugin doesn't work with Ajax login plugins. On a register page, it's always showing up. Whenever we try to display it in a pop up, no dice.

The fastest way to do this, since it's a separate issue from the original post (related, but separate) is to open a new thread with the Set Password plugin as the related product, and Set Password plugin Conflicts with Ajax Login, or something along those lines, as the title. Link to the first post in this thread discussing that issue (right click the timestamp to get the URL for an individual reply), and give a general overview of what's happening, ala:

I'm trying to use an Ajax login/registration widget on my site in place of the registration page on a subsite in my multisite network. I'm also trying to use the Set Password plugin to require users to enter a password when they register, instead of having the password sent to them after they submit a username and email. I'd also like a CAPTCHA, to prevent spam registration. So far, I can't find a way to combine all three successfully. The enter password fields don't show up on any Ajax widgets, no matter which plugin I try.

That way, just in case I'm offline when you post that thread, the person answering can hop right in and help, too. That way, if we need to open a bug ticket, we can do it right from the thread and have it assigned to the right product/developer.

Thanks, Mike! I think we're close! I undid all the changes I made except the CAPTCHA, in case you wanted to keep it. Let me know if it's a little too much. It's freemium, so there's a pro version as well as the lite version that's currently installed, lite looks to be more than enough for what you need, as long as you don't mind the upsell in the settings. (That's not our tool, and there are others out there to try if it doesn't meet your needs.)
