We have WordPress version 4.7.3 and Defender 1.3. I enabled lockout protection for 404 errors. I may have set the thresholds incorrectly because some users told me they tried to access links from the home page and getting "You have been locked out due to too many attempts to access a file that doesn't exist". I disabled 404 monitoring but the problem persisted. I then disabled the plugin entirely and users still cannot access any pages other than the homepage. I have tried clearing cache on the Edge browser which did not work. Oddly it works in Chrome for me but not for another user in the building. I tried having a friend that is outside our network (works at a completely different company) and he also gets the locked out message.
