Using CSV or XML Product/Stock/Image Feeds

I was wondering if there was a convenient way to be able to pull a constantly updated feed for products, stock levels, and importing associated images.

I'm trying to figure out the easiest way to upload 1000s of products and maintain one central CSV or XML file so I can branch out the main store into various niche stores to capitalize further.

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello sebassinc,

    Welcome to the Forum!

Couple of ideas that came up into my head.

    1. You could have a database backup plugin taking backups of the WordPress database in regular intervals and then reading out the MarketPress tables from those databases instead of the csvs. It would need some custom programming, but doable.

    2. Setup the store on a WordPress Multisite and use the global shortcodes to show products on the sub-sites. You can use the domain mapping plugin to map the sub-sites to individual niche domain names.

I think the second one is the easiest of the two. What do you think?
