Using Hummingbird, but the php still uses about 320MB memory to execute code.

I'm using Hummingbird, and seems it is very cool. But my problem is, our site still reaches sometimes our 320MB server memory limit. Our host says it is because the php is still executing, the site is not converted into a html site.

Checked the options and all the features are enabled.
Is there something wrong with my settings or am I just a too newbie?

Thank you,

    Hey Matthew,

    Hope you're doing well today

This will mostly depend on the things installed on your site, plugins and theme you have running on there.

I had a look at your site in google page speed and most important thing you need is optimizing your images, I see that you have WP Smush already installed so did you try running smushing process to fix this?

What you also could do for further improving your site speed is using caching plugin like WP Super Cache or similar that will do caching on server side.
Hummingbird at this moment only support browser side caching and it's recommended to use server side caching plugins together with HB.

As for having that high memory usage, it's best to try disabling your plugins one by one to see which one is causing high memory usage.

    Best regards,
