Using Mu-Plugins in Plugins folder

Can all mu-plugins work in the plugins folder or are there certain ones I should avoid? Depending on user's request I only want to activate them for that user. Also will they all integrate with Supporter as long as they are in plugins folder?

It's a toss up and one of those things you;re going to have to try yourself on a testbed. At the very least scan through the plugin's files to see if the mu-plugins directory is hardcoded in there. I know a lot of normal plugins have the plugins subdirectory hardcoded.

mu-plugins plugins are normally written to be used sitewide though. I think you';re going to find that you;re going to have to do some coding on all of them at least a little bit.
