Using the chat plugin for one to one help?

Hi, I'm testing out the chat plugin on my multi-site - I would like to use it so that users can contact me for live help but I don't want everyone to chat with each other at the same time - is this possible? for example, it would be ok if I see all of the users at once but I want the other users to only see my posts and their own (like a private chat). Am I making sense and is this a configuration thing or is this chat plugin an all or nothing (everyone can chat with everyone else if they are online.

I have it set so that if they are a logged in Network admin they can chat on my site...
