    Greetings HappyJimmy,

Sorry to see that you are having issues with your WordPress installation.

I can see the reason for the error right in the text you sent and thank you for including it because it is a big help.

The problem is the bolded section below:

Warning: is_dir() [function.is-dir]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/usr/www/users/happinm/wp-content/uploads) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/happines:disappointed:usr/lib/php:/usr/php4/lib/php:disappointed:usr/local/lib/php:disappointed:usr/local/php4/lib/php:disappointed:tmp) in /home/happines/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wpmu-dev-seo/wds-files/wds-sitemaps/wds-sitemaps.php on line 457

It shows your hosting account is using or trying to use PHP4 which WordPress requires PHP 5.2 and above to work properly.

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Hosting_WordPress

    Server requirements

WordPress server requirements for Version 3.2:

    PHP version 5.2.4 or greater

    MySQL version 5.0.15 or greater

(Optional)(Required for MultiSite) Apache mod_rewrite module (for clean URIs known as Permalinks)

And it is showing that you are indeed running PHP 4

Therefore you need to contact your hosting provider to upgrade you to PHP 5.2 or above or get a new host.

Thank you for being a WPMU Dev Community Member!

    Cheers, Joe
