We can't save our theme settings

After creating our theme in Upfront Builder, we can't save any of the options under Theme Settings, like font size, etc.

We can change the values, but, if you close Upfront builder and re-open it again, none of the changes were saved.

    Hello there Joëlle Scholten,

hope you're doing good today!

I can see that you've already made changes using native Upfront Editor apart from Upfront Builder plugin. Please keep in mind that changes made in Editor are overriding similar settings made in Builder, as Editor is for site-specific changes.
I was able to confirm it in my end, that in a child theme without any changes made in Editor, Theme Settings and Font changes were being saved/updated correctly, without any issues.

Having said that, do you need to make this change via Builder (that's equal to save it in file themes, instead of database like Upfront editor does)?

If this is obligatory, as you may want to copy/paste this child theme in another installation, please do migrate it first, then try to edit it from there, so there would be no site-specific options in database that could mess with that.

If this isn't needed and you simply want to make a site-specific change, then open Upfront Editor instead and make this change from there.
The link of editor should be: https://yourdomain.com/?editmode=true
    while for Builder is: https://yourdomain.com/create_new/jesus-net-2-0

    Warm regards,

    Hi Dimitris,

Thank you for your response. We need to change this in the Builder, since we want to use the theme for other sites as well. But as you said, we can change it beforehand we start on that website, so that's solved. Only for this particular website we'd like to change layout for many pages at once, instead of changing it one by one.

Is there a way we can accomplish that? Like rebuilding a template for example?

    Thank you!

Only for this particular website we'd like to change layout for many pages at once, instead of changing it one by one.

Unfortunately there isn't any way to change multiple page layouts at once, as these are getting saved as different layouts in database (changes made via Upfront Editor), so these should be edited separately.
You can see any created/altered layouts in wp-admin area and specifically in Upfront -> General -> Debug Options, in the "reset layout" dropdown.

The Builder settings should get overridden from Editor changes, so you should try to edit H1 settings using Upfront Editor, not Builder.

In order to make this default, try to edit with Builder the same theme, after moving it into another clean installation (so there are no database records that could mess with its settings).

    Warm regards,

Thank NAME, for their help.
