Website crashing after adding WPMU DEV Plugins

I have a tech-guy setting up Membership 2 on my sites and he noticed the site continually crashing, he said there were too many add-ons with WPMU so he removed them.

I am not the person to ask technical questions, I am trying my best to troubleshoot as I go…

So he has removed or disabled WPMU plug-ins (that WPMU suggest to add on joining their
membership) and then the site started crashing.

Is it a WP Version conflict or other I am not sure. Ask me how to improve your emotional well being, that I know, computers and wordpress are not my bag…

So I need a techie with Guru powers that can set my wordpress area straight!

Regards,
Stuart

    Hello,
I have recently reactivated WPMU on the wordpress site harmonycreatorsfoundation.org and have
activated the support control as per your instructions.

The only other site I could possibly have, at this point, in my multisite is nostudentdown.org it may still be there?

If you need access to my host panel in Godaddy please let me know.

    Regards,
    Stuart

    Hello,
    Hope you are well.

I believe you are seeing errors because the free version, Membership2 is installed. Please follow these steps to get Membership2Pro going.
    1. Please take a full backup, our Snapshot Pro plugin can help.
    https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/snapshot/
    2. Deactivate and Delete Membership2.
    3. Install and Activate Membership2Pro.
    https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/membership/

Please let me know if this solves your problem.

    Cheers,
    Alex

    Hi... ok all done...
    Hopefully things go well.
With Membership 2 Pro is there a template page to show content?
M2P looks very basic with just pages to restrict or not.
Do i build my own pages? Or am I missing something completely?

    HI Alex,
Thank you for staying with me on this matter...
My perception was that M2Pro would have a template, in the protected
pages, to customise for the membership?!
From another angle, you see my sales page, you think, okay I will join the
free trial, when you are granted access, I want you to see all (or a portion)
of all the components/modules of the course/membership.
As we have set 'Drip content' I want my new member to see what they will
have access to in a couple of days and so on...
Is there a template within M2Pro to set out the Drip Content or???!

    Hello,
    Hope you are well.

You can easily use a drift content setup with posts and pages using Membership2Pro. Please follow these steps.
    1. Login to WordPress Admin.
    2. Go to Membership2 > Add-ons.
    3. Activate the Individual Posts add-on.
    4. Go to Membership2 > Protection Rules. You can select either the Posts or Pages tab.
    5. Under the Who Has Access column, click Modify Access and select your drip membership.
    6. Under the Who Has Access column, click Set date. A drop down will appear, select On specific Date.
    7. Select the date from the popup calendar.

Please NOTE: you must modify your existing or create a new membership to set the membership type to Drip Content Membership. If you do not, you will not see the selection area for picking the date. If you need help with this, please let me know if you are trying to convert an existing membership or if you want to create a new one and I can provide steps.

    Cheers,
    Alex

    Hi,
Thank you for the above notes, it gives me
greater insight into how to control the content.

What I was really looking for is more format within M2Pro,
to have a format like Coursepress Pro. Coursepress Pro would
be suitable if it were more a monthly subscription rather than
a course fee. Due to the format/layout of the plug-in.

I am just finding M2Pro difficult as there is no page that can
show all the content and when its available.... or am i missing
something?! Could I have numerous posts listed on the one page
and structure the drip content that way? So the post becomes available
    on the one page?

Hope to get this cleared up soon. And I appreciate the support.
    Stu.

    Hello,
    Hope you are well.

The Drip Content membership could still work, but you would only be able to use Posts for what you are trying to achieve since there are no shortcodes to handle drip content protection. To do this, you would want to create a category and categorize all those posts to it. Then you would want to go to Membership2 > Add-ons and activate the Category Protection add-on. Next go to Membership2 > Protection Rules > Categories > click Modify Access on the category you would like to protect, and select the Drip Content membership.

    Hope this helps.

    Hey Alex,
Thank you for all your help. It has come a long way from where I were!
I had set up a post, categorised and did the adjustments in M2Pro to get it all
    protected!

I guess I could add something in the Member Account area?!
I just want my members to be able to see what is coming up in the next week and beyond!

Hopefully I will work thru that in the next day or two.
