Website is down, How to fix it?

I was updating plugins, themes etc for http://www.emilylouisesinging.com then this error came up:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting ')' in /home3/paceprom/public_html/emilylouisesinging.com/wp-content/plugins/testimonials-widget/lib/aihrus/class-aihrus-common.php on line 88

It would seen that the Testimonial Widget is causing the problem and my first thought is to just get rid of the widget (not being used anyway) but I cant get past the "Parse error" that I pasted above. It even shows up when trying to view the website

    Hello @dpaceagent

I hope you are well today and thanks for asking the question.

Please login with ftp, browse your site and go to /wp-content/plugins/ and delete 'testimonials-widget' folder. Make sure you keep a backup of that folder before deleting.

Your site should be live by then.

Please let me know if you find this is helpful, or if you have any further questions.

    Cheers
    Ash

    Hi @dpaceagent

If you just want to get rid of testimonials widget, you can delete it from your plugins folder by navigating to wp-content/plugins using your FTP client & then deleting the testimonials-widget plugin.

I downloaded the plugin but can't see any parse error in the code. however I may have just got a newer version than yours as the version i just downloaded was released a few hours ago.

You could try manually updating the plugin by downloading it directly from http://wordpress.org/plugins/testimonials-widget/

then unzipping to your desktop & upload the testimonials-widget folder to your plugins folder & overwrite existing.

    Hope this helps
