Website SSL; Insecure Data (no padlock)

I'm not sure what changed, but sometime recently something changed that is now causing my padlock to not show up on the website. It appears for a minute and then it goes away, I'm assuming something is loading that is not secure.

I'm using the "Why No Padlock" website and its showing secure except for that "0 Items" were downloaded during the test, which is weird and I'm not sure what it means.

Any help would be appreciated to get the lock to re-appear.

    Hello David,

I hope you're well today and thank you for your question!

This most likely happens because there are some assets loaded over insecure connection. It's difficult to diagnose however without checking the site and since you didn't assign any site to your post I'm not sure which one should I test.

Could you then point me to the site in question, please?

    Best regards,
    Adam

    Hey there David,

I trust you're doing good and don't mind chiming in!

I just inspected your site and managed to get two relative errors in dev tools

Mixed Content: The page at 'https://cityofhanahan.com/' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image 'http://csi.gstatic.com/csi?v=2&s=mapsapi3&v3v=26.6&action=apiboot2&e=10_1_0,10_2_0&rt=main.11'. This content should also be served over HTTPS.

Which Google Map plugin are you using? Please advise!
This should gives you the option to insert a Google Map API key which you can provide here https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key

    Kind regards,

I don't have any Google Maps plugin enabled now. The Google Maps functionality that is included is from the Redux Framework I believe.

I do have the WPMUDEV Google Maps plugin, but it's not enabled.

What should I do to get this to validate appropriately?

    Hey David,

I don't have any Google Maps plugin enabled now. The Google Maps functionality that is included is from the Redux Framework I believe.

As you're using a premium theme which make use of Redux Framework, can you please contact their support staff in order to deal with that? You can point them the "Google Maps API Key" section of manual page here https://docs.reduxframework.com/extensions/google-maps/.
Feel free to post back here your results with them, especially if the aforementioned issue remains!

I do have the WPMUDEV Google Maps plugin, but it's not enabled.

This should be the issue here, although always keep in mind to delete all of the plugins that you're not using at all.

    Warm regards,
    Dimitris

    Hello David ,

Hope you are well today and thanks for asking us.

I have reached out to the developer of the plugin, but I'm not sure they are going to be much help. I have read all the Google API docs, but I don't know where it makes the call for the API's.

Since June 22, 2016, Google made some changes in its API and any plugin or theme using its Map API needs to use Key which should be generated by creating project ( with Google MAP API enabled ) on Google Console.

You can know more about policy change here,

Let us know what developer say on your ticket.
