What is this Coursepress theme used ?

Hi,
I'm looking at this page and loving the screenshots :
https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/coursepress-pro

What theme is this ? Is it something we can use ?
And what other recommendations would you have for a "courses & lessons" theme template ?

Thank you

    Hi Steven,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

It's the CoursePress theme that is used in the shared screenshot.

You can use it by downloading the following CoursePress Pro plugin

    https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/coursepress-pro/

and then copying the CoursePress theme from the downloaded CoursePress Pro plugin directory on the following path to the WordPress themes directory in your WordPress install.

    /wp-content/plugins/coursepress/themes/coursepress/

Please advise if you have more questions.

    Best Regards,
    Vinod Dalvi

    Hi Steven,

Yes the theme becomes available when you activate the CoursePress Pro plugin but keep in mind that if you deactivate the CoursePress Pro plugin then the theme activated will also gets deactivated so it's recommended to copy it in the themes directory and if you want to make any change sin it then it's highly recommended to create child theme of it.

This is because if you make any changes in the theme file then you have to make these changes again after theme updation as changes made in the plugin file get lost on theme updation.

Thank you for being a WPMU DEV member and have a fantastic day!

    Cheers,

    Hi Vinod,

I have NO multisite here so can not check it, thanks for the link anyway

I created a course yesterday and love the the template of the /courses/
But I still wonder about the theme options I can use in "pages ? posts"

    How do I create a button ?
I see a blue line below text in <h1> tags - How can I reproduce it ?
What's the shortcode so I can add the share buttons in my content ?
    ... kind of stuff

So if there's no demo, is there a DOC file that I missed somewhere ?
Thanks for showing me the way
And have a fantastic day as well !!

    Hi Steven,

You will find all the CoursePress shortcodes information on the following path as shwon in the attached screenshot.

Admin Area -> CoursePress -> Settings -> shortcodes

You can get information about the usage of this plugin on the following page.

    https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/coursepress-pro/#product-usage

All other things can be achieved by developing custom code so please share the screenshot or the page URL of what you want to achieve so that i can help you to achieve it.

    Vinod,
I saw that and it's not what I'm talking about
All those are shortcuts related to /courses/ and I'm more wondering about "pages & posts" content

    - How do I create a button ?
    - I see a blue line below text in <h1> tags - How can I reproduce it in a blog post ?
    - How to add the social medias share buttons in a page ?

    I'm referring to "elements" built into the theme, CSS predefined stuff such as ;
*columns, tabs, accordions, images gallery, tables, latest posts, counters, messages box, testimonials

Does the theme got any of these ? Thanks

    Hello @Steven

I hope you are well today.

*columns, tabs, accordions, images gallery, tables, latest posts, counters, messages box, testimonials

Does the theme got any of these ?

The coursepress theme is only for the coursepress plugin, those features you mentioned are not included in the theme I am afraid. You have to use third party plugins for those functionalities.

You can try our upfront themes that includes accordion, gallery etc and you can customize the whole theme from front end. Here is a link where you can find all upfront themes: https://premium.wpmudev.org/projects/category/themes/

    Hello @Steven

    Use 2 themes ? ... Does such a thing possible ?
    I don't understand  How's that working ?

No no, I didn't mean that  I wanted to say if you want to check upfront instead of coursepress theme.

But anyway, using two themes is possible. You can try this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/jonradio-multiple-themes/
But personally, I never like that idea and never recommended anyone

There is no known conflict between coursepress and bootstrap. But instead of adding code directly you can try any of these:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-bootstrap-shortcodes/
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/bootstrap-shortcodes/
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/bootstrap-3-shortcodes/

Hope it helps  Please feel free to ask more question if you have any.

    Cheers
