What to do with this message?

All my sites in my network shows this message:

“An automated WordPress update has failed to complete – please attempt the update again now”.

When I go to the update site it says that this is the latest version of WordPress. Somebody know what this is. Do I have to enable the automated update somewhere and if so, where?

    Hey there.

First of all log in with FTP and then delete the .maintenance file which will be in the root file of your site /public_html/ You can then do the upgrade again.

The file is .maintenance so it will be like viewing a .htaccess file which is invisible occasionally at first in some FTP clients.

If you need to run a repair you can do that here:

Let me know how you go on.
