When a user tries to reset their password on my site they are getting the error message 'Sorry, that key does not appear to be valid.'

I've checked the database and the key is different to the one that is emailed.
Is this is a problem with the plugin or Wordpress?
I've just updated the plugin as well but still have the same problem.

Also Google crawler is all of a sudden coming up with errors for wp-login.php?action=register not sure if this is a problem or not?

    Hello @s83

    Welcome to WPMU community!

I hope you are well today and thanks for asking the question.

Are you sure this feature comes from Set Password plugin? Do you use any front end login plugin?

And what happens when you try to recover from wp-login.php page? If it works then, would you please run a plugin conflict test? Please deactivate all plugins except this one and check if you still face the problem. If not, then enable one by one and check which one is causing the problem. You can see the flowchart here: https://premium.wpmudev.org/manuals/using-wpmu-dev/getting-support/

Please let me know what you get.
