when hummingbird generates a down status

Hi,
What is the criteria for hummingbird to generate a site down notice? For example: If a site generates a "error establishing database connection" message or a fatal error message will that generate a down notification?

    Hello cornelius_butler,

Hope you are doing well today and thank you for the question.

In Hummingbird plugin, the Uptime Monitoring system is a feature that monitors the site regularly and alerts you immediately when the site goes down.

Uptime monitoring pings to your site in every 2 minutes and if your site did not respond or your HomePage took more then 30 sec to load it will send you a notice that the site is down.

You can get more details about the uptime monitoring from the below link:

Yes, the pingback time of the site may vary and will enable the downtime alert for the site due to "error establishing database connection". Also, there are other things that affect the pingback time and enable the downtime alert like:
    - Server response time
    - Max execution time of the site
    - Memory limit allocated to the site

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.
