Whenever I access my

Hi - Whenever I access my wordpress multisite(s) urls with http://www.mymultisite1.com it automatically switches it to mymultisite1.com (without www in front).

I would like to have it so that it keeps the www or automatically inserts www in front of it.

How is this done?

Hi - I have done that with the main domain of the wordpress network but it doesn't work for any of my subsites. How can I do this so that each subsite uses www in front of their domain while they use the domain mapping plugin?

    For Example:
    http://www.example.com (Works)
subsiteexample.example.com (Not Necessary b/c is subdomain)
subsiteexample.com (Doesn't work because the subsiteexample is using the domain mapping plugin)

How can I make it so that subsiteexample.com adds www in front if it's using the domain mapping?

    Thanks!

    Hello Taylor Miller

My apologies, It wasn't clear for me that you are using the Domain Mapping plugin. I moved this thread to "Domain Mapping" forum.

If I understood your question correctly, the Domain Mapping can do this automatically once you map a subsite as

    domain.com
    http://www.domain.com

In Settings > Domain Mapping, allow site admins to set multiple mapped domains

Then navigate to your subsite subsiteexample.example.com and same domain with www:

    http://www.domain.com

    Please see the exmple here:

Once you do this, the maped domain should always redirect to www.

If this is not the case, please grant access from WPMU DEV > Support so I could have a closer look at your settings.

    I hope this helps!

    Cheers,
    Nastia
