Why does my signup page have the sliders from my front page

Hi,

Why does my signup page have the sliders from my front page on it?

Thanks,

    Hi @chris,

    Issues like this are usually theme related. The signup page will retrieve the theme's default header and footer. Often this contains other elements provided by the theme. Some themes don't even account for the signup page and may not even test it. (I've had this happen to me before even with premium themes)

    If you want, I could take a look at the site to see if there's anything I could recommend, otherwise you may need to touch base with the theme developer.

    Hi Alexander,

    Thank you for your help. I'm still a little confused. Currently I put the slider in with this hook. I thought I set it conditionally for "is_home" . Could you give me more detail on your method, please?

    <?php
    if(is_home()) { ?>
    [rev_slider slider1]
    <?php }
    ?>

    Thanks,
    Chris

    Hi @chris,

    Try giving this code a go:

    if(is_front_page()) { do_shortcode('rev_slider slider1'); }

    The method I was describing would go something like this:

    add_action('signup_header', 'signup_header_code');

    function signup_header_code() {?>
    <style>
    /* CSS to hide slider */
    </style> <?php }

    Let me know how it goes!
    Best regards,
