Why does the affiliate plugin only work in IE explorer?

I tested it, and so did my partner (on different I.p addresses) and it seems that the only way we can get the affiliate referall cookie to count (we have debug mode on) is in Internet Explorer’s internet browser.

That is going to be a huge problem for us, and seems to me like shouldn’t be happening (considering about 80% of the world users a different browser than IE explorer)

Did I install something incorrectly? Please help, thanks, Tyler

    Hi there Tyler (@tyler_abernethy)

I hope you are well today.

This certainly isn’t right, it should work in all browsers, I’ve personally used it in Chrome, Firefox and Safari.

Could you switch to the Twenty Twelve theme, disable all other plugins, clear your cache on WordPress (if you have one), clear your browser cache and cookies and then see if it will set.

How are you creating the cookie? From an Affiliate URL or are you using the function, where they just input the website people will be coming from?

Can you supply a link to the site please?

Thank you and have a great weekend!

    Kind Regards
