Why is the email confirmation not working?

When someone schedules an appointment, they are not recieving a notification via email and neither am I. The email notification box is checked. Please help!

    Hi, Bonnie! Let's run through some troubleshooting steps.

    Appointments+ relies on the default WP email program to send notifications. WP email is a bit older, and not as reliable as more modern ways of handling email. Let's make sure it's working correctly.

    1. Are you getting other notification emails from your site, like if a new members signs up, or comments needing moderation?
    1a. If not, you may need to switch to using an SMTP mail service, like yahoo or gmail, to send emails from your site, rather than the default. https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/
    2. This is an obvious one, but I have to ask just to be sure we're covering all our bases, did you check spam?
    3. Have the service providers entered their email addresses in their profiles, via wp-admin > My Profile? You can check to see if there is an email address entered, but only the provider can edit here.
    If none of these options help, would you mind enabling support access so I can take a look? If this is ok, just grant me temporary admin access to your site by clicking "Grant Access" button in the WPMU DEV Dashboard Settings from the following path and reply on this thread after granting it?

    Admin -> WPMU DEV -> Support -> Support Access Tab
