Widget CSS issue

Hello there. I'm having a styling issue with the global site search widget. I have it installed on the services section of the blogs mu theme (see the attached shot).

I've been snooping and I can't seem to nail down the reason for it. Any clues?

    Hey, I haven’t seen a screen shot of a properly styled widget. But, in the global-site-search.php I found:

    /* Widget control settings. */

    $control_ops = array( ‘width’ => 300, ‘height’ => 350, ‘id_base’ => ‘global-site-search-widget’ );

    So, shouldn’t the widget be around 280 to 300 px wide?

    Thanks

    Hiya,

    Those configs are for how the widget is displayed in the admin. The widget’s output is in the form of a table which does an 80/20 percentage split for the search field and button size respectively.

    You can style this anyway ya like through our theme’s styling.

    Thanks!
