WooCommerce PayPal Emails and Status Not Working Correctly

I have a website that uses Mandrill to send email (I'm not sure if that's relevant or not).

The site uses WooCommerce and all emails are sending correctly when a credit card payment is made. The issue comes when PayPal is used. Sometimes the payment status is changed to Completed, and sometimes the status stays at "Pending."

I've read some other threads that say some people don't return to the website after they make a PayPal payment so WooCommerce cannot capture the data.

However, this seems to prevent our emails from sending to the customer, which they need as it contains their ticket and other information.

I know I didn't attach this to a current website, but I was hoping you had some insights you could share with me about this issue?
