Wordpress Error while uploading images. The site is now broken

I was working on a wordpress installation located in a folder inside a subdomain ( http://alumnos.institutoilpa.com/nuevositio ) when suddenly the whole installation 'seems' to be dissapeared, because now when i try to go to any place of the wordpress (front or backend) i get redirected to the subdomain (outside the 'nuevositio' folder), where there's another wp installation and i get a 404 error in http://alumnos.institutoilpa.com (instead of http://alumnos.institutoilpa.com/nuevositio)

Help please, i cant even acces to the admin area.

When i got the problem i was uploading featured images to several posts (custom post types) at the time, using several browser tabs. Maybe this had omsething to do.

Thanks in advance

    Hello, Cultiva Tus Ideas!

That's certainly an unusual problem! Everything worked correctly before you were uploading images in multiple browser tabs at once?

I'm not sure about the redirection issue, that may take more digging, but the site giving you a 404 error on all pages including the admin makes me think this may be because:
    1. Is there any chance you've exceeded an upload, bandwidth, or CPU usage limit set by your host?
    2. You may have run out of memory, but that won't typically cause a 404 error.

Let's do a check quickly and make sure you can still access your site via FTP. Log in and navigate to the subfolder where you've installed WordPress. Can you see and access all these files?

Let us know what this reveals, and we'll help you track down a solution.

    Hey Cultiva,

    Hope you're doing well today!

So you have an installation inside the subdirectory of your subdomain folder?

We will need to see the structure of your directories to better troubleshoot this. Would you mind sending us your FTP and WP login? That way once we get the issue sorted we can make sure that your login works before posting back

FTP will also allow us to ensure there are no plugin conflicts.

You can send that information privately through our contact form: https://premium.wpmudev.org/contact/

    Send in:

    Subject: "Attn: Tyler Postle"
    -WordPress admin username
    -WordPress admin password
    -login url
    -FTP credentials (host/username/password)
-link back to this thread for reference
    -any other relevant urls

Select "I have a different question" for your topic - this and the subject line ensure that it gets assigned to me

    Look forward to hearing back!

    All the best,
