wordpress plugin on a subdomain

Hello, on our site http://flooringassociation.org/business-directory/ we have the businessdirectory.com plugin installed.

We want to install another, different instance of this plugin on the site. We are thinking it would be good to set it up on a subdomain (like members.flooringassocation.org) but are wondering if we have to add all wordpress files and a clone of the main site and the plugin to the subdomain to make this work.

Anyone experienced this, out there? Thanks.

    Hi there @ibizworks,

    Hope you’re well today,

You would need to add another install of WordPress onto the sub domain to use the plugin on a sub domain.

Another option would be to make your site a WordPress Multisite, and then create a site from that, and use that sub site just for the domains, this may also be useful for future situations like this, as otherwise, each time you wanted to do something similar, you’d basically be running two WordPress sites

    Kind Regards
