Wordpress website www.jmofoto.com Load time

Before I had wpmudev i was getting load speed of 1-2 seconds
I have done all that is possible to improve my websites load time using hummingbird
I am still getting load times of 4/3 seconds
I have a VPS
and i paid for CDN
Which i am using MacCDN
What do I, need to improve me load time I thought hummingbird would help

Also smush is saying that all the images have been optimized but humming bird and google website speed test say thin

Compressing and resizing https://cdn.jmofoto.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/benardgutwa.jpg could save 77.2KiB (82% reduction).

Compressing and resizing https://cdn.jmofoto.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/photographer.jpg could save 32.1KiB (96% reduction).

Compressing and resizing https://cdn.jmofoto.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/juniorchurch.jpg could save 30.9KiB (79% reduction).

I do not know what to do because the images have been optimized to the maximum

    Hello John!

I already moved the thread to the Support Forum. Just for future reference: the Support Forum is where you ask WPMU DEV support staff for help/assistance and the Members Forum is for a community discussions. We are participating there sometimes but we're not able to provide you with a full support from there

As for the issue. I'd like to review your site and its settings. Would you mind granting me a support access to it so I could take a closer look? In order to do this follow this guide here:

Let me know when access is granted, please.

    Hello John ,

Hope you are well today and won't mind me chiming here.

Thanks for granting me staff access to your site. I took a look at your site and found that there are notices about some images from Hummingbird. It is actually asking for compression of those images. I did try to compress those image with WP Smush Pro, but I was not able to do that because those images are no longer exists on your site. It seems to be deleted somehow.

So please find these image and delete it from the /wp-content/uploads/ folder.

Let me know once you do that.

    Hi John,

Page speed test has two reports for image optimization.

    1. Losslessly compressing - This one's is telling that image can be optimized and that's what WP Smush does. You can see there are no such reports which means images are optimized correctly.

    2. Compressing and resizing - This shows that the images are resized via HTML and/or CSS.

The second one is what's shown in your results and that's because your theme is loading images larger than it's HTML holder, for example on home page tablet there's 728x843 thumbnail loaded but the actual HTML holder of that image is 366x492 so the image is resized with CSS to fit in that holder.

Unfortunately this is not something Smush can deal with since the theme code is written in the way to call the larger image, and even though the image is compressed google doesn't like loading image larger than its holder, so this is something you need to check with the theme devs.

Hope this makes sense and let us know if you have any followup questions

Hello you guys a taking forever to respond do i contacted mt hosting company
They told my the VPS is setup perfectly fin and everything id working well
They also told me to improve my website load time. I will have to
    Defer parsing JavaScript
I tried do it with a diffrent plugin but it did not work
Could you please help me Defer parsing JavaScript
So that my website load time can be fast

Here is a chat transcript of what my hosting company said

10:23:58 PM [Mathias K] So checking reeallyy I am seeing quite a few request for things like fonts and images.
    10:24:01 PM [Mathias K] 43 in total.
10:24:10 PM [Mathias K] Each time the connection is requested 43 request are made.
    10:24:24 PM [Mathias K]
419.6KiB of JavaScript is parsed during initial page load. Defer parsing JavaScript to reduce blocking of page rendering.

    https://cdn.jmofoto.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-hummingbird-cache/c1b1320009fa57240e9917975af64f24.js (260.9KiB)
    https://cdn.jmofoto.com/wp-content/plugins/revslider/public/assets/js/jquery.themepunch.tools.min.js?rev=5.2.6 (94.4KiB)
    https://cdn.jmofoto.com/wp-content/plugins/revslider/public/assets/js/jquery.themepunch.revolution.min.js?rev=5.2.6 (42.8KiB)
    https://www.jmofoto.com/ (21.5KiB of inline JavaScript)

Each time a page is loaded 43 requests are made.
10:29:01 PM [Mathias K] Each request has to go out and be made and fulfilled. Which causing server load time.

    Here is the speed test

Please help me I have extended the support time please help me.

    Hello John!

Thank you for your replay and for passing the transcript of the chat with your host to us.

This will require some "deeper" examination. You said that you deactivated all the plugins and this didn't help so it's hardy the WPMU DEV or other plugin issue. I'm not saying that's the host but it's possible that some more "serious" steps may have to be taken (e.g. changes on the site, WP config changes and/or some additional "per-site" server configuration).

In order to check this I would need to access your site directly but please note that I'm not able to guarantee anything, except that I'll do my best.

First step is to diagnose potential reasons for that and then take the steps that are possible to be taken. Also, this may mean that the site may become "broken" or even unavailable for short periods of time (while I'll be checking it/working on it) - e.g. you may not be able to access it for a few minutes. Furthermore, I'll do what I can but there may be things that I'll need to first ask for your permission or even ask you to do them (or contact your host for specific task).

If you accept that, please send in:

    Subject: "Attn: Adam Czajczyk"
    - Mark to my attention, the subject line should contain only: ATTN: Adam Czajczyk
    - Do not include anything else in the subject line, doing so may delay our response due to how email filtering works.
    - Link back to this thread
    - login URL and admin account login credentials (may be a temporary admin account) data
    - Include FTP log-in details (hostname, username & password)
    - Include hosting control panel access details (login address, username & password) - cPanel's usually the control panel used for this, but your provider may use something else; I'll need this for accessing your site's database, preferably via phpMyAdmin
    - Include any relevant URLs for your site

Please use our contact form here http://premium.wpmudev.org/contact/

Select "I have a different question" from the drop-down list.

Please also make full backup of the site prior to this. I need to be sure that in case anything went wrong you are able to restore your site to the current state.

    Hello once again
    I figured out the issue.
The issue was that SSL on my site was not letting hummingbird/ combined file load properly I have no idea why but I changed it so that SSL would not be on my homepage. I still did not see the issue being fixed. so I disabled hummingbird and the second I disabled hummingbird my websites load time and got wp-rocket went from 4 seconds to 700 milliseconds. I guess that hummingbird just made me website worse to prove that after I got 700 milliseconds load time I enable hummingbird and did all the optimization. I took a load time and I got 12 seconds. I disabled it aging and got 700 milliseconds. I have no idea what in the world is happing but I guess hummingbird was not meant for me. Well thank you for your help
