Wow Slider artifact left over?

I recently tried out the Wow Slider plugin on http://www.moseley-realestate.com. When I deleted the plugin it seems to have left something behind that is causing [wowslider id=”2″] to appear at the top of the page. I’ve been unable to find where the shortcode is hiding so I can remove it. Ideas anyone?

I made a quick visit to your website and saw the text at the top of every page.

It looks like a left over shortcode or something? Could it be that you added shortcode to a page and now, it is just displaying as plain text, because the plugin is uninstalled and shortcode doesn’t apply anymore?

If that is not it, I would recommend making a free account at WordPress.org (if you don’t already have one) and then, starting a thread and posting this issue in the Wow Slider plugin’s Support Forum. I put the URL below:

Sorry that I was not a direct answer, because I am not familiar with this plugin.

Is anyone else (staff or community) familiar enough with it to answer this question?

    hiya

do you have a custom home page?

it looks like this could be in the page content.

it doesn’t look like it’s in the template code.

have a look in dashboard > settings > reading

in front page settings it should tell you which page is being used.

    hope this helps.

    thanks.
