wp-admin login

Trying to log in to my wp-admin site. Getting “The http://www.fwhistorycenter.com page isn’t working http://www.fwhistorycenter.com is currently unable to handle this request.

I can access my store site through http://www.fwhistorycenter.com/ via a click through, but can’t get the back-end to make changes.

    Hello Kathryn

    Hope you are well.

When trying to access this page http://www.fwhistorycenter.com, I am getting a BlueHost 404 page. Here are my suggestions.

    1. Contact your web host to see if there is something wrong on their end.

    2. If not, try re uploading the /wp-admin and /wp-includes folders from a fresh copy of WordPress. You can download a fresh copy of WordPress at the below link.

After unzipping the folder, you will see the wp-admin and wp-includes folders that should be uploaded via FTP or a File Manager.

    3. If fresh folders do not solve the problem, access your site via FTP and rename your /wp-contents/plugins folder to plugins-old. After you change the name, the path should look like this. /wp-content/plugins-old. This will deactivate all your plugins.

Please let me know if any of these recommendations help to get you back in to your admin area.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but…. I changed the name of wpmudev-update and my admin site is accessible. When I updated my wpmudev dashboard, the admin site crashed again. Changed file name again and admin site works. Uh-oh.

I can get to the admin page for my site, but when I try to make any changes or update any content all the menu redirects go to a 500 error page. If I don’t update to wpmu dev dashboard 4.1.1 I can’t update any other plugins and if I do update wpmu dev dashboard, my admin page crashes. How can I resolve this issue when it is clearly a WPMU DEV dashboard issue?

Thank NAME, for their help.
