WP Hummingbird & ENFOLD Theme conflict

Hello Support,

Are you aware of issues with the KRIESI ENFOLD Theme and your WP HUMMINGBIRD Plugin?

On this page, http://www.hearthsidefoods.com/careers/, we are using a background image on scrolling elements. (This effect is used throughout the site - this is a good page to use for trouble-shooting.)

When the WP Hummingbird Plugin is enabled, all the elements with this background image "disappear". From what I see using trouble-shooting tools - Hummingbird is changing the CSS and hidding the elements.

I can set-up a test/dev site for trouble-shooting - but before I do this I thought I'd check with you to see if this bug/conflict has already been addressed.

Sincerely,
Greg Wilker

    Hello Greg,

You probably enabled minification in Hummingbird and that caused that some elements stopped working in Enfold.
Minification is not feature that could be just enabled - careful configuration is required. Not every theme and plugin plays nicely when its JS files are "touched" - by that I mean minified, combined and moved. And Minification can do that.
So next step is to disable minification, combination and move files to original position

After that your site should start working correctly. And from that point you can start enabling again those options for each file - and see if that causes problem with site. If you see that one file breaks site, revert changes for it and move to next file.

Each site is different - there is no one general configuration that would work for every site, so testing is required.

Let me know if this was issue here. If checking Minification wont help would you mind allowing support access so we can have a closer look at this?
To enable support access you can follow this guide here:

    kind regards,
    Kasia
