WP Hummingbird using lots of RAM

We've recently activated Hummingbird on our site but we've found that hummingbird is constantly using around 3GB of RAM on our VPS server. This has been confirmed by monitoring RAM usage whilst deactivating various plugins until we found the one that was causing high RAM usage (Hummingbird).

Is this normal? Is there any way we can reduce the amount of memory being used?

    Hello James,
Hope you are doing good today

I don't think it should take that much of memory. I know members are using the plugin on shared hosting with maximum 512MB memory limits.

Could you please try deactivating all of your plugins and then test it out ? Also, do you know when exactly it consumes that much memory , I mean while Minification or performance test ?

Also, please enable support staff access so I could take a closer look. To grant access go to Dashboard -> WPMU DEV -> Support -> Support Access -> Grant Support Access or see this manual for more details regarding how to enable support staff access.

Take care and have a nice day

    Best Regards,
