Can you help?

    Hey Tara,

    Hope you're doing well today :slight_smile:

    Would you mind allowing support access so we can have a closer look at this?
    To enable support access you can follow this guide here:
    http://premium.wpmudev.org/manuals/wpmu-dev-dashboard-enabling-staff-login/

    Please respond in this thread once access is granted.

    Also, is it possible for you to update to latest version of WP since you're using quite outdated version on your site?

    Best regards,
    Predrag

    Hi Tara,

    Thanks for granting access, I had a look at your site and see that the smush process is stuck but the strange thing is that when I inspect your site there are no errors inside console or network tab that could tell us what's going on.

    Your WP version is a bit outdated but that shouldn't be an issue especially since some images did get smushed.

    Could you try asking your hosting provider to check the server logs and see if there's anything in there that could tell us what's wrong?

    Also, can you enable debug log in your wp-config.php by replacing define('WP_DEBUG', false); with this code:

    // Enable WP_DEBUG mode
    define('WP_DEBUG', true);

    // Enable Debug logging to the /wp-content/debug.log file
    define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);

    // Disable display of errors and warnings
    define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false);
    @ini_set( 'display_errors', 0 );

    Start the bulk smush process and leave it for couple of minutes, if there are any WP errors this should create debug.log file in your wp-content folder that could tell us what is going on.
    Can you please save it as .txt file and attach it here so we can check it out.

    Best regards,
    Predrag

    Hi Tara,

    Huh, it's really strange that there's nothing in debug log or in console and network tabs that could tell us what's causing this.

    Could you perform a basic troubleshooting by disabling your other plugins and try starting smush process after that so we can see if there are any conflicts on that end.

    If that doesn't return any results could you provide us with FTP or cPanel login details so we can dig deeper into this?

    You can send us your details using our contact form https://premium.wpmudev.org/contact/#i-have-a-different-question and the template below:

    Subject: "Attn: Predrag Dubajic"
    - Site login url
    - WordPress admin username
    - WordPress admin password
    - FTP credentials (host/username/password)
    - cPanel credentials (host/username/password)
    - Link back to this thread for reference
    - Any other relevant urls

    Best regards,
    Predrag
