[WP Smush Pro] Woocommerce Backend slow -> only products or categories

Hi, with enabled smush pro is the woocommerce (wp multisite) backend calling products or categories very, very slow. All other functions in backend and frontend is normal fast.

We have no error or debug errors - it is only slow (maybe must wait 1-2 minutes if we calling product or categories). After disabling wp smush it works normal.

    I was able to replicate the issue, and would need you to enable debug mode on your site so that we can get a more clearer idea on what is going on.

    To enable debug mode please add following lines in your wp-config.php just before /*That's all. Stop editing. Happy blogging. */ . After you have added the lines to wp-config, enable Smush Pro and browse the WooCommerce pages.

    If there is any issue then a debug.log will be generated in wp-content folder. Please share that debug.log by changing it's extension to .txt or upload the debug log to any service like Pastebin etc.

    Hi Simpliby GmbH / Dieter Schummer and sorry for the late reply, without access is kind of tricky to see exactly what's going on as I couldn't replicate the issue on my test servers.

    The errors that you're seeing most probably mean that you have "zlib output compression" enabled. This should be disabled as WordPress doesn't play well with it in general.

    Could you please grant access to me so I can get a closer look of what might be going wrong and help you out if possible regarding the slowing down of your admin?

    I've verified the issue on your end but I couldn't replicate it on any of my test sites.

    Unfortunately since there are no errors on the logs ( not even the ones you mentioned above as they don't generate from the Categories page at least ) we'll have to take a further look of what might be going on as it could be a number of things.

    We can start with a "simple" Conflict test, this means that all plugins except WooCommerce + Smush should be disabled as well as reverting to a default theme like TwentySeventeen to see if the issue persists like that.

    This also means that your site won't look or work the same for the time that this test is done so since it's a live site I wanted to ask if there's a possibility for a Staging environment.

    Please inform me if you want to do the test yourself or if you want us to help with that. If we're to do it please also provide Server details ( you didn't provide them ) as well as I've asked them on my last comment following the same instructions so we can keep a full server-side backup as well ( you should keep one yourself as well for safety reasons. ).
