WPMU Dev Dashboard plugin causing site to crash

This site was crashed and turning off the Dashboard via ftp got it working again. It's a multisite installation. Not sure how to resolve the problem.

    Hi @flojnel,

Do you know what the error was? or do you just get a white page?

If you could check your servers error logs (Via your cpanel) and see if any errors are listed, this would help determine what caused the error.

Alternatively, you can try downloading the latest version from here. https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/wpmu-dev-dashboard/

Then unzip it to your desktop.

Now using FTP, navigate to /wp-content/plugins

    Delete the existing wpmudev-updates folder

Now using FTP, upload the wpmudev-updates folder from the zip you just downloaded to the wp-content/plugins folder.

Hopefully that should work, if not, let us know the error you receive if possible.

    Hope this helps

Error was "unable to establish a database connection."

Thanks for the help. I thought the error log showed problems with the plugin, that's why I turned it off and the site coming back seemed to confirm it. But looking again at the logs, I see another plugin having issues also. I'll have to work on that and see if there was a conflict between the two.

Otherwise will try reinstalling next time I do an update.
