Still trying to follow the recommandations from your new AWESOME WP Checkup tool. While trying to place a robots.txt in my root folder, as advised, I discovered that Defender was preventing the access to any txt files (as well as other extensions) and I add to remove tha extension completely from the exclusion. 2 (potential) problems with that method, first will Defender overwrite my correction in the future or report that my site's security is breached, second I open access to any txt file
The best solution would be to correct Defender itself to protect access to all txt files EXCEPT robots.txt, can you provide me with the correct .htaccess instructions to do just that, and maybe push my idea/request to the developpers
Thanks (AGAIN) for all your good work !
