Youtube Element Not working on HTTPS Site

Hello,

The title says it all - youtube videos inserted as elements on my https site do not work. See the following page:

https://golfcoastmagazine.com/directory/the-eagles-golf-club/

Now click on http link:

http://golfcoastmagazine.com/directory/the-eagles-golf-club/

The youtube video in the section at the top always works, but the two youtube videos below (in the 36 holes section) only appear if I access the page via http.

Please advise on how to fix this issue. Support access granted.

By the way - related question, is it possible to use more embed options on the youtube element videos? I'd like the option of showing video controls, title, suggested, autoplay, mute, etc..

Thanks in advance for the help!

Ryan

    Hello Ryan,

This is happening because element youtube is loading movies through the http instead of the https - I was able to replicate this issue on my onw site, so I'm marking this as bug.
Could you please try to replace this file /wp-content/themes/upfront/elements/upfront-youtube/js/uyoutube-front.js with one I'm attaching and see if this helps?
Please unzip it before uploading and make a copy of the original site.

    kind regards,
    Kasia
